What do you get?
Our short-term Vietnam Teaching Programme is your launchpad for a global and impactful career. On the programme, after paying our fee you will receive:
- All meals, accommodation, teaching placement and training support
- TESOL/TEFL training and certification
- Placement in a supportive school in rural, suburban or small town Vietnam for 2-3 months.
- Vietnamese language and culture lessons and activities
- Professional development training
- Personal and community support, including 24/7 support for emergencies.
What does the programme involve?
- You will be teaching English to local Vietnamese students, usually in an English training centre or summer camp.
- You will be in a smaller town or rural area to give you a chance to be immersed in local culture, with at least two other Gotoco’ers and continuous community support from our team.
- You will receive all meals, accommodation, and your training.
- You will receive continuous professional development to support you in your teaching and with your future career plans.
How do you apply?
To apply you need to:
- Completed high school/A-level/college
- Be an advanced level English speaker, e.g a native speaker or otherwise have native-level English.
- Have a clear criminal record
- Be available and excited to travel to Vietnam!
This low cost programme is ideal for recent graduates from universities that want to explore building a life as a teacher abroad, but is open to anyone, including mid-career changers, college grads and those from ‘non-traditional’ educational backgrounds.
N.B.: FREE programme September-December 2024: due to visa rules, this programme requires you to hold a bachelor’s degree.
