What do you get?
Our short-term Vietnam Teaching Programme is your launchpad for a global and impactful career.
This programme is part-funded through local resources. You pay a discounted fee of £1,400 to access our TEFL course (up to Level 5) with a guaranteed placement. If you are a university student, then you can apply for funding for summer programmes, learn more on this FAQ.
On the programme, you will receive:
- TESOL/TEFL training and certification (up to Ofqual Level 5)
- 3 meals a day and accommodation throughout your placement
- Placement in a supportive school in rural, suburban or small town Vietnam for 2-3 months.
- Professional development mentoring and training throughout your time in Vietnam.
- Pre-departure support (guides, videos and webinars), in-country support and post-programme career advice – we’re here every step of the way!
- Essential in-country travel
What isn’t included?
- Flights / travel to the programme
- Pre-departure costs, including: vaccinations, visas (if required), travel/health insurance, DBS check, and health form.

- Meals during orientation and the end-of-programme reunion
Your Vietnam placement:
You will be teaching English to local Vietnamese students, usually in an English training centre or summer camp. We invite you to join our local partners, in order to gain basic skills, work experience and insights into what life is like as a TEFL teacher here.
- TEFL Qualification & Training: Earn an accredited qualification that prepares you to teach anywhere in the world.
- Guaranteed Placement: Spend 2-3 months gaining hands-on teaching experience at one of our partners in places such as Thái Bình, Ninh Bình, and Haiphong
- Cultural Immersion & Adventure: Immerse yourself in Vietnamese culture through festivals, community events, and activities, while experiencing life in a local community.
- Boost Your Employability: Develop communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills that enhance your confidence and career prospects.
- Comprehensive Preparation & Support: Participate in cultural and teaching sessions to build your skills, with ongoing support before, during, and after the programme.
How do you apply?
To apply you need to:
- Have completed high school/A-level/college
- Be an advanced level English speaker, e.g a native speaker or otherwise have native-level English.
- Have a clear criminal record
- Be available and excited to travel to Thailand!
