Can you tell me about some of your most enjoyable moments of the trip?

I really enjoyed the outdoor activities when we got to spend time with the kids outside of the classroom. I really enjoyed having a water fight in the river near Dahuwai and hiking through a cave occupied by the Chinese during World War II.

Which were the highlights of the lessons, cultural excursions and outdoor activities?

I thought exploring the caves was great and I really enjoyed seeing the rice terraces.

How would you say the overall experience has benefited you?

I gained invaluable experience teaching English as a foreign language and teaching young children generally. I also learned a great deal about Chinese culture and customs.

What was the best thing about your experience in China?

The scenery around Yangshuo was absolutely beautiful; it is something I will never forget.
