Could you please tell us about some of your most enjoyable moments of the trip?

The best part of the experience was being able to immerse myself in the food and culture everyday and being able to take part in cultural exchanges and learn about China and the local area I was in.

Which were the highlights of the lessons, cultural excursions and outdoor activities?

Being able to have one on one conversations with children who were keen to learn about British culture and the English language. The children were enthusiastic about having a foreign teacher.

How would you say the overall experience has benefited you?

The experience has opened my eyes to different locations I would like to visit as well as making me feel even more confident independently.

What was the best thing about your experience in China?

Being able to immense myself in the culture with the children but also exploring neighbouring areas, both historical and modern.

Would you recommend participating to a friend and if so why?

Yes, the TEFL qualification in itself is worthwhile but the experience is something I never anticipated to be as monumental.
